Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of fiscalcalcs.com ("FiscalCalc," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using FiscalCalc, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Educational purpose only

FiscalCalc provides financial calculators and related content for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on FiscalCalc constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Results produced by our calculators are estimates based on the inputs you provide and general formulas.

Before making significant financial decisions โ€” including mortgage applications, retirement planning, investment strategy, or tax filings โ€” consult a qualified and licensed professional (financial advisor, CPA, attorney, or other specialist appropriate to your situation).

3. Accuracy & no warranty

We work hard to ensure our calculators use correct formulas and up-to-date parameters. However, FiscalCalc makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any calculator result for your specific circumstances. Formulas may not reflect:

  • Your specific loan terms, lender fees, or prepayment penalties
  • Your precise tax bracket, deductions, or filing status
  • State or provincial variations in tax law
  • Recent legislative changes not yet reflected on this site

FiscalCalc is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FiscalCalc and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, any calculator result, article, or other content on this site.

Your use of FiscalCalc is entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for any financial loss, tax liability, legal consequence, or other harm resulting from decisions made based on our calculators or content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract content from FiscalCalc for commercial purposes without prior written permission
  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute our calculator logic, articles, or design for commercial purposes without permission
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our calculators
  • Use FiscalCalc in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's infrastructure, servers, or networks

6. Intellectual property

All content on FiscalCalc โ€” including but not limited to text, articles, calculator logic, design, graphics, and code โ€” is owned by or licensed to FiscalCalc. It is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may share, quote, or link to our content for non-commercial educational purposes with clear attribution to FiscalCalc and a link to the source page. Any other use requires express written permission.

8. Modifications to these terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of FiscalCalc after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the site.

9. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FiscalCalc shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec.

10. Severability

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
