FiscalCalc

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Overview

FiscalCalc ("we," "us," or "our") operates fiscalcalcs.com, a free financial calculator platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. By using FiscalCalc, you agree to the practices described here.

FiscalCalc is operated from the Province of Quebec, Canada. This policy is governed by Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law P-39.1, as amended by Law 25) and, where applicable, by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Data we collect

Calculator inputs: All calculations are performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your inputs (loan amounts, interest rates, salaries, etc.) are never transmitted to our servers and are not stored anywhere.

Usage analytics: We collect anonymized data about how visitors use the site — pages visited, time on page, and general geographic region (country/state). This data cannot identify you personally.

No account, no registration: FiscalCalc does not require you to create an account. We do not collect names, email addresses (except for newsletter subscribers — see Section 7), or any other personal identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them.

3. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site traffic and improve our calculators. GA4 is configured with IP anonymization enabled — your full IP address is never stored. Data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

GA4 data is processed and stored by Google LLC. You can opt out of GA4 tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. GA4 data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising

FiscalCalc uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense uses technology — including cookies and device identifiers — that can identify, and build a profile of your browsing behavior across websites in order to serve you relevant ads. Under Quebec Law P-39.1 (Art. 8.1), we are required to inform you of this before such technology is activated. Your consent is requested through our cookie consent notice on first visit.

Google AdSense is operated by Google LLC and is subject to Google's advertising policies and privacy practices. FiscalCalc does not have access to the data Google collects for advertising purposes.

You can control personalized advertising preferences at adssettings.google.com. To opt out of interest-based advertising more broadly, visit optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org.
